Quba Masjid and the Somali Professionals’ Network (SPN) cordially invite you to attend our FREE community career fair and Future Leaders workshop at Quba Masjid

The event will take place on

Saturday, July 2, 2022

Time – 2pm to 5:30pm

Location – Quba Masjid and Education Centre , Gordon Crescent , Hayes , Middlesex, UB3 1AQ

The nearest train station is Hayes and Harlington, which is just a 10 minute walk away.

All members of the public are welcome to attend and benefit from this excellent FREE career event.

From Anas Ibn Malik -may Allah be pleased with him-, he said, “The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- once said, “Verily, among men, there are persons who become the keys to goodness, and the locks of evil. And among men there are people who become the locks of goodness, and the keys to evil. Lucky those whom Allah put in their hands the key to goodness, and woe to those whom Allah put in their hands the key to evil.”

that a man said to the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam: “Advise me! “The Prophet said, “Do not become angry and furious.” The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet said in each case, “Do not become angry and furious.” [Al-Bukhari; Vol. 8 No. 137]

From Malik bin Aus, that the latter said, “Who has change?” Talha said, “I (will have change) when our store-keeper comes from the forest.” Narrated Umar bin Al-Khattab: Allah’s Apostle said, “The bartering of gold for silver is Riba, (usury), except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount, and wheat grain for wheat grain is usury except if it is form hand to hand and equal in amount, and dates for dates is usury except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount, and barley for barley is usury except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount.”

Yahya related to us from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Humayd ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf and from Muhammad ibn an-Numan ibn Bashir that they related to him that an-Numan ibn Bashir said that his father Bashir brought him to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, “I have given this son of mine one of my slaves.” The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Have you given each of your children the same as this?” He said, “No.” The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Then take the slave back.”

Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.
