Quba Masjid & Education Centre is an Islamic organisation that focuses on educational, religious, and social activities. It was established in 2006 and registered with the UK government in 2008. Its headquarters is located in London, United Kingdom.
Quba Masjid and Education Centre is known for its well-used prayer facilities for both men and women, with an average of over 1,200 people attending Friday prayers (Jumu'ah) and as many as 2,500 during peak times. The centre attracts a weekly foot traffic of 6,000 people, which increases to over double that number during the month of Ramadan.
Quba Masjid stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and community unity. What began as a modest place of worship has grown into a vibrant centre serving thousands each week. Our story is best told through the milestones that shaped us — moments of growth, challenge, and collective purpose.
To build a strong, confident, and united Muslim community that is firmly grounded in faith while playing an active and positive role within the wider society. We strive to create an environment where individuals and families feel spiritually supported, socially connected, and empowered to grow.

Quba Masjid & Education Centre was established in a modest converted factory, offering a sincere space for daily prayers, learning, and community connection. What began with limited resources was driven by strong faith, dedication, and the vision to serve the growing Muslim community of West London.

Quba Masjid & Education Centre was established in a modest converted factory, offering a sincere space for daily prayers, learning, and community connection. What began with limited resources was driven by strong faith, dedication, and the vision to serve the growing Muslim community of West London.

As the local community expanded, Quba Masjid grew into a trusted spiritual home. New programmes were introduced, including youth activities, educational classes, and community services, welcoming families and individuals seeking knowledge, guidance, and unity.

Educational initiatives flourished, with regular Qur'an tafsīr, sisters' circles, and youth programmes becoming central to the masjid's mission. Despite internal renovations and improvements, space limitations increasingly challenged our ability to meet community needs.

The global COVID-19 pandemic tested communities everywhere, and Quba Masjid was no exception. Despite restrictions and unprecedented challenges, the masjid remained a source of spiritual support, guidance, and connection for worshippers during a difficult time. As activities gradually resumed, continued overcrowding during prayers and major events further highlighted the urgent need for a larger, more accommodating space.

With the support and generosity of the community, Phase 1 of the expansion was successfully completed through the purchase of the adjacent building for £800,000. This marked a critical milestone in preparing for a larger, more inclusive masjid.

We now embark on Phase 2 — a transformative four-storey extension designed to serve generations to come. This expansion will provide dedicated prayer spaces for sisters, youth facilities, expanded prayer halls, and community areas for education and events. With your duʿās and generosity, we can complete this vision together.
