Patience (Sabr) is one of the most important virtues in Islam. This article explores the significance of patience and how it can transform our lives.

Patience, or Sabr in Arabic, is one of the most highly praised virtues in Islam. It is mentioned numerous times in the Quran and Hadith, and is considered essential for spiritual growth and success in both this world and the Hereafter.
Patience in Islam encompasses three main types: patience in obedience to Allah, patience in avoiding disobedience, and patience in accepting Allah's decree. It is not merely passive endurance, but an active virtue that requires strength, determination, and trust in Allah's wisdom.
وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ
And give good tidings to the patient
Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:155
The rewards for those who practice patience are immense. Allah promises unlimited rewards for the patient, and they are among those who will be granted Paradise without account.
وَمَا أُعْطِيَ أَحَدٌ عَطَاءً خَيْرًا وَأَوْسَعَ مِنَ الصَّبْرِ
And no one has been given a gift better and more comprehensive than patience
